Optonica SA-5206 A+B Right Channel Out

Hello! This is my first post and I'm hoping to get some help troubleshooting my Optonica SA-5206.

Both the A and B right channels are out. I think there's a blown fuse and I have some replacements ordered. What I'm curious about is why that fuse might have blown. I've had the receiver for 8 years and it's only needed to be professionally serviced once to replace one of the STK084G power amplifiers.

A few days ago I acquired a pair of Rectilinear III Tallboy speakers. We tested them before I brought them home and they were working perfectly. I got those connected and was listening through out the day and they sounded great. Suddenly the right channel cut out. As far as I know the Optonica should be able to handle these speakers. I was previously using JBL PA 20 bookshelf speakers with no problem.

Don't automatically assume that it is a fuse unless you checked them all first.

Check the simplest things first like cables and/or cleaning all pots and switches with deox first.

Connect the speakers normally to "A" left & right and wiggle/push switches/buttons like the tape monitor and selector. If the right channel sound comes back, then it is just a cleaning issue.

If your unit has fuses (internal or external), and if any are blown, make sure they aren't blackened.

Ah yes, I should add that I swapped the three 4a fuses around and did find that one seems to be out even though none of them are blackened. I'm planning on cleaning as well. Do you have a recommendation of where to purchase the cleaner online? Thank you!

Did you end resolving it with a fuse replacement? My left channel is out on both the A and B of my 5107. One of the fuses looks like it could be blown. I'll get a picture real quick. I did spray out all the pots and switches with deoxit and didn't seem to clear up the left at all. The right channel does sound good though.
