Stylus will interchange fine. Do remember it will take more tracking force than the OM styli, it is a conical equipped variant. And a good option for 45 RPM and mono and early Stereo LP discs.

Thanks for the insight! I use a 1200MkII and play mostly 50's and 60's jazz, 60's rock and roll. I can wait to drop it on this beat copy of the Atlantics that I scored.
 
It's a good cartridge for those old discs. It has good frequency response and is rugged enough for broadcast use. And sounds very nice. Lots of output without being too much. Practical as a second stylus. Love this range for old rock and jazz discs from that era.
 
I was using a stanton discmaster with a dm al that came with the table. It was far from new but it gave me plenty of disc play. No complaints here
