I own that same player except mine is black. Never had any issues with it since I picked it up 7 years ago and is still my daily player. Great score.

I love the operation and sound, bought a 2nd non working one as backup.

Nice! There's a P-L51 for sale here locally. Looks like pretty much the same table with a slightly different button arrangement.

The only thing I did not like was the cartridge installed. Hard to change if you needed to. I went with the new stylus.
