PA1002A workaround / replacement

But unfortunately, the SX-980 isn't complete without FM muting.;)
I'll build the following version, test it, and report back.

I am very late to this thread...as I begin to sort out my own Sx980. Just incredible work by all I must say. A huge BRAVO to everyone.

I have seen the replacement boards, components and fully stuffed versions all available on ebay from Ben which is great.

Then I find this thread and the latest posts aimed at incorporating the muting into a similar package - magnificent.

So....not0815 ..any success with the circuit you proposed above?.. did you build and test? ...
