Pacific Northwest AK Gathering/Meet 15th Oct.

Thanks Bart for the link up to my spot on PhotoBucket...Mark W. should have some more photos to add soon....you might even see a picture of me in there,since I forgot to hand the camera over to someone else and pose infront of a piece of gear or something!! :scratch2: I want to thank all those who did attend,and invite all those who didn't attend to make sure you try to make the next gathering,don't have a date for you now,but will let you know.It would be nice to gather next time somewhere along the I-5 interstate corridor,(somewhere between Seattle and Portland would be nice),give our guys down in Portland a break on the long drive up.If anyone has any suggestions,let me know,planning early on will be helpful :yes: ......possibly for a meet in the spring of '07 :scratch2: Rob

I wanted to thank Rob for all his effort in putting on the event, he was a gracious host, had a neat facility for us to use, and makes a damn good burger too.
You should see Rob's collection of gear, makes me feel better to see someone has collected more pieces than I have. LOL
Saw some neat gear, met some good folks, a great way to spend a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest. :thmbsp:

Sorry you missed out,we had about 8 members show up,a small gathering,but useful to get the first one off and running.It would be nice to have another meet in the spring,but in another location...possibly along the I-5 corridor between Seattle and Portland.It doesn't need to be too fancy of a place,but I think somewhere we could have a few rooms set up for systems by members would be better than the 1 room place I helt it at this time.The location seems to be the key to getting everyone to come out and participate,so I wouldn't mind hearing from those members who may have any ideas for a place to meet next time,in the locations I suggested. Rob
 
I hope to be at the next one. Sounds like it was a good time. Closer to the Portland end would work best for me.
