Don't panic! I have no doubt that the brilliant, responsible, ethical men who run the Car companies in Detroit will come up with a solution. Maybe a $100k truck with an extra large fuel tank so that when you fill it, you can drive around for a few days watching the price at the pumps go up and be happy that you paid less for the 100 gallons in your tank.

I thank GOD every day that they've all given up on electric vehicles. I want to get a Hummer and convert it to run on clean coal. I want my sooty exhaust trail to be visible from space!

Filled up the tank on the wifes Charger this afternoon at Costco (they usually have the cheapest price in town)... $5.05 for 91 octane, 86 octane was $4.20. It is at the point where people stop their discretionary spending, just like we did in the 2008 meltdown... soon business will start to close.

This reminds me of a KILLER IDEA I had the other day.

I noticed that there are endless drive thru fast foods, but I have never seen....anywhere we travelled....a Drive Thru "Pizza by the slice" joint. How is it possible that America's favorite food is not available in the damn car?? I'm willing to share this fantastic money-maker with anyone who will put up about $2M so we can try it out!

There WAS one in Liverpool, NY, believe it or not, called Enzo's. I used to stop in after work almost every day and pick up a slice or two at their drive-thru back in the early 2000s. They closed, unfortunately.
