PAS 2 Brass Face plate: Clear coat?

Just polished up my face plate on my buffing wheel. Can anybody recommend a clear coat that will stick to the shiny finish?

I would be concerned about the clear coating degrading over time (hairline cracks and/or yellowing). I have a brass faceplate pas2 which I refresh with mild auto polish from time to time. Looks like new.

I recall a product called Nyalic. Clear gloss to spray on automotive wheels ( polished aluminum and such)

I've used Mohawk Lacquer for brass to good effect

Give me a day, It's not clear coated because I need a place that's around 70 degrees. That ain't here.
