Passive Subwoofer question Canton Plus C

Well i was thinking to get a thing that is connected directly from the speaker itself and then to like a rmc outlet or so. Since i prefer external amps.

That is what the adapter in the Crutchfield link does, it takes the speaker output from the Samsung and allows that to connect to the RCA inputs of an external amplifier. This way of connecting allows the volume control on the Samsung to also control the external amp. Once you adjust the external amp to match the volume of the Samsung, the Samsung will control volume for the stereo speakers and the subwoofer.

Oh damn! Didnt even think that wouldve work

But aight it seems reasonable since i was think to get a terminal anyway. But damn thats clever! Cant look more forward to get the sub fixed!

Thank you so much!!

So just so that i check that I understood correctly.

The adapter will be attached to the speaker it self and then from the adapter it will go a rca to a external amp that connects the speakers and everything togheter?

In that case it would be ****ing spectacular!

Thanks again everyone! Highly appriciated!!

Speaker wire from the Samsung goes to the adapter, then rca cables from the adapter to the external amp, speaker wires from the external amp goes to the subwoofer.

Aight, well the sub is broken since one of the elements are broken and basically inreplaceble so im thinking to rewire the sub speaker to a terminal directly and then into the sub, that should work i think.

I've had two of these subs, very musical. My son is currently using one with Canton Plus S, the other worked quite well with a pair of Optimus Pro X77 with the Linaeum tweeter in a stepped baffle.

By element, do you mean the crossover, the high and low pass filters?

Yes i think it is what its called in english, it has a coil and like small thingys that are like cylinder shaped. They remind me of capacitors but i dont think it is that but just a lookalike. Either way, the sub speaker is connected with 2 cables on each "element" but the element that is for the sats is broken so thats why im figuring if I should rip the entire thing out since im not sure if the elements are connected togeheter and then out to the 4 different ports, 2 for sat, 2 for amp, left and right. It may work by getting a y-split cable and attach to the amp ports and then into a amp. Idk if it would work since one of them is broken.

Inductors (coils), capacitors, and resistors.
If the low pass (going to sub driver) is still working that is all you need since you don't have the Canton satellites.
Wire your main speakers directly to the Samsung.

Im quite sure it works on the amp side.

Well should I then split a cable for the sub and then hook it into a amp maybe?

I'm not sure what you mean.
Is it possible there are stereo enthusiasts in your area that could help?
Things that take a long time on the internet can be explained/done in minutes in person.
