I never knew it was missing, or there was a crash.. Hell, had I of known I would have looked for it last month while I was there.. I coulda been rich..

Frampton catches alot of grief but he's truly a talented guitarist. I'm glad he's reunited with is guitar.

WOW!! That is so incredibly amazing........I must admit I teared up a bit reading the article!!!
Man......that is so cool.....I have my guitars which are like my own flesh and blood, I cant imagine losing one....I would be devistated....but then if I did lose one and then got it back 30 years later........WOW......

I would assume since it was a CARGO plane that went down the plane was loaded with CARGO CONTAINERS. Packed in a hard case most likely inside a Grizzly type travel case inside a cargo container. It could easily survive a crash depending on many varibles. If the Cargo plane broke up on impact then its even possible the cargo container could have resurfaced. Or the Instrument travel case. I know the Travel cases I have for my Telescope and a couple camera lenses at water tight.

Whatever the hell happened, that's a special guitar that probably means worlds to Peter Frampton. I'm happy for him. I don't like his music, but this is a badass story and I'm glad he's going to refurbish the guitar.

That guitar can talk,
but only in Peters hands.

Not without a Talk Box. He was not the first to use one.

I heard an interview with Frampton were he talked about having to have dental work done because the tube actually vibrates in your mouth and it had loosened up a few of his teeth.

In 2006 he putout an album titled "Fingerprints" It is a confirmation of what an outstanding pop rock guitarist he really is. It won a Grammy for best pop instrumental in 2007. This cut alone is worth buying the CD. "Black Hole Sun" (featuring Matt Cameron/Mike McCready) His last album release was in 2010. "Thank You Mr. Churchill".

I am glad he got his favorite ax back.
