Phase Technology 9.1s? CL find for $400, good deal?

Anyone know anything about Phase Technology speakers? Specs look impressive and I found a pair on craigs for $400... Any advice?

I bought a pair of old PT's and was not impressed.

Are they the PC 9.1? You could certainly do worse. I've heard the most recent Phase Techs and they're quite nice.

The high end Phase Techs are outstanding speakers. They also make lower end speakers that I wouldn't waste my money on. The bet Phase Tech Speakers have the flat woofers. Also, check for foam rot on the surrounds. It's difficult to re-foam the Phase Tech woofer. Replacements are generally available, but not cheap. If they have rubber surrounds, then that is best for longevity.

Recap with nice warm polycarbonate caps, get rid of the electrolytics and you will have some killer speakers.

I don't know that model so I can't say weather it is a good deal.
