Philips Speaker ID

These look similar to the Philips 800 series speakers which were originally out of Holland - I beleive the model was FB881 or FB821 - again quite similar in design to what is show here - In fact these look like maybe a step up from the FB 821's - At the price you cant go wrong - Philips made some pretty good speakers in their day and if these still work your going to be rather surprised with them.

Speakers purchased in perfect working order-couple of dings, but fixable. What do you guys think these are worth?

Model number F9436. Pics to come.

According to the Vintage Knob link the smaller version was termed "expensive".
It's hard to value rare items because there's little info. If you could speak/read Dutch I think there's much more info at MfB Freaks website. Enjoy.

If I had to judge by sound quality, I would put them around the 200 dollar range. They are extremely rare this side of the pond, virtually no units like this TOTL model around. I am just glad the only repairs are dinged corners. Oh well, 3 sets of towers in a week. That must be a personal best.
Realistic Optimus 5b's $30
Sansui SP7500x $20
I wonder where my bed is.....all I see are speakers!
