Luck, teaching, and CTF-1000

I too have the CT-F1000 but mine doesn't work.
I know about lucky scores - you don't want to know what I paid for my entire Spec system, with rack. Also, my reward for years of teaching HS art. I loved my career but recently retired (early). Yes, it has changed. Not as much fun - teaching HS should, and can, be fun.

The ony thing that doesn't work is the cassette deck. Looking into that.

Now trying to get HPM-100 speakers restored. Cabinetry and speakers.

GW = Good Will store, a place where poeple drop of things that they don't want anymore. GW resells the items and is supposed to donate cash or goods to a cause. don't know which one. same as the SA = salvation army store.
