I have a nice livingroom....

I refuse to post for fear of people getting jealous of the cramped space I'm listening in. :( *sigh*

I love seeing other peoples setups!

I need some ideas for future reference anyway.

but spend more time in the shop. Small but its a nice place to play with my stuff and fix up things

The den system is a Marantz 2226B, Technics SL-1950 t-table, JVC dvd/cd, ADS L520's sitting on an old Arvin console stereo. I've got a Teac X-300 r2r if I can find room.

Main rig is running a Carver Ct-3, Carver TFM-15CB, Denon DCD-425 cd, Denon dvd, Kenwood KX-D6060 cassette deck, Kenwood KD-3055 t-table, Infinity 12" powered sub (to be replaced by a 10" DIY & NAD 2600A when I get the X-over done), Paradigm Legend speakers. Of course the Panasonic HDTV.

My Camera SUCKS

My Nikon is on the fritz... so until it's fixed, this will have to do.
I am in High school and this is my bedroom.
The first pic is of my current stereo. Needs new turntable and new receviers.
Speakers, from bottom:
Sansui S-45G's (connected to front channels of Sansui QRX-3500
JBL 4311's: My main speakers. Hooked up to Pioneer SX-780
Acoustic research AR-4x's.
baby Advents Series 1's
the second pic I put my camera in front of the left JBL woofer and snapped a pic. yes, I need to re-hang the indian blanket, and yes it is handmade my Indians in Arizona or thereabouts 30+ years ago.

Nice stuff!

btw...MAKE YOUR BED!

Sorry, I have daughter in highschool and some habits are hard to break.
:D

hehehehe I have not made my bed in about 3 months...
Apartment inspections are Thursday, that's the ONLY reason that you can even see the bed!

David, all those speakers will sound so much better after you CLEAN YOUR ROOM!!!!!!

Tim

PS: I don't have pictures of my listening space, I'll try to get some, but I fear it is too hard/reflective -- hardwood floors (no rug), wood walls and speakers firing down the length of the room with plenty of space to build up reflections. There are a couple of couches in the room to tone things down, but I think an area rug and a couple of wall hangings might work wonders...

The livingroom set up.

You can see how much HT means to me...little Sony speakers for movies and t.v. attached to a Sony AV system. The Kilpsch Aren't attached to the television!

You forgot to mention John Denver's 'Back Home Again' napping on a pillow on the floor...

My listening space at the shop. I spend hours upon hours working on my feet 6 feet in front of my Ls. I hardly ever listen to my 4311bs at home. About the only thing I hear from my home setup are the sound effects from the game "Book Worm" when my wife is on the computer.
