Pics of your listening space

Gorgeous digs, John!

The feng shui is just perfect...obviously a marketing guy.:D

I have an ex-fiance' that was an interior designer. She hammered a few things into my head and I realized how an interior can really influence your mood. So much so that it just sort of stuck long after she was gone. Plus I just like things with history to them.

I can attest to his decor. I felt very comfortable at John's pad until I realized I left my wallet sitting on the center console of my truck with loads of cash in it. Thought for sure I was gonna go out to my truck to find it missing the drivers side window!

I looked at all the pictures, and you got a super cool place John. I'm sorry for calling you a Ghetto ass in my last weeks Tequila induced stupor.

I know I apologized personally for it already, but I still feel bad about it. I believe my actions require a self induced public humiliation.

Latest edition of the office space, where I do 80% or more of my listening. Many gigs of flac files on my Mini, feeding a Grant Fidelity Tube DAC-09, then to the Grounded Grid pre. Amp is a Pass DIY F5 and speakers are RayW built Indignias. Right now I'm listening to Andrew Gold on my Pro-Ject RM5-SE with a Bellari VP-129 phono stage. I also have a Sony XDR-F1HD tuner that has been fully modified by AKer PunkerX and is a stunning performer.

Nice office, how many bones did you have to put out for that Herman Miller?

Less than a grand? That's the best office chair ever made , and will be very collectible the future. Make sure you hold on to it......

I agree. I have one at work and in my home office. Guys really like them as we tend to need less heat to stay warm. With no padding to absorb body heat we tend to stay awake more. :D  :thmbsp: My wife doesn't like it and comments it's too cool for her.

How do you like the GF tube DAC?

You seriously think these won't appreciate? I respectably disagree with you! duff.

There are not many more collectible chairs out there from this era.

I'm not a pro at this stuff, but am a better collector than avearge joe.

Well Specialidiot paid $400 for his, If I remmember correctly, they were worth about $1600 new.

If yours were free, you don't have a whole lot to loose.

I think there will always be a collectible market for the brand name or Herman Miller gear.
