I'm liking that set up, how many albums?
Very nice, how about a photo of the 916???A few pictures of my limited mancave.
Here are updated photos of our dedicated music room. Last weekend I painted it and added the GIK acoustic panels. I'm looking for some sort of sound diffuser artwork for the wall above my chair. Any ideas please share. I share the room with my two eight year old musicians in training.

Cool.. lot's of drums.... Great looking space!
Thanks. I haven't hung the panels yet but plan to do so. The room doesn't have many options of moving things around and the piano is a big problem. There are always compromises. But I immediately noticed an improvement with the new panels. The mid range frequencies sound cleaner, which is what I expected, but the highs seem a little brighter and the lower bass stronger.Book cases and furniture are diffusers also. Looking at your room, you may not need them. What you may need is to place your panels as close to the center of the walls. Laying low the are barely effective. Since your room is rectangular you probably need bass traps in all 4 corners of the room. Also consider that glass covered posters and paintings have little absorption coefficient, I would use canvas paintings instead.
Room acoustics is one of the most important, misunderstood and neglected aspects of sound reproduction. There are good resources in the web. Google "listening room acoustics".
Thank you. The wife has/is taking west african and middle eastern drumming, sort of in conjunction with her belly dancing classes. Ads a little unique musical flavor to our listening space.
Thanks.Sweet Duffy! :thmbsp:
