Pics of your listening space

Carl, forte mids at 200Hz, is that the mid horn crossed over that low? Or the bass bin modified in some way? Can you show your trachorns?

Love 'The Wall' on display for the photo session, but dude, you've got to get the 'scetti under contol- yikes
 
Updated the desk a bit.

Switched out the HD5's for sone RSC RS28's. I originally thought I was gonna leave em in the bedroom, but they sound so good they are here where i do the most listening. A very impressive set of speakers.

New roomates, Martin & Logan

Picked up some new roomies tonight, a set of Martin Logan Aerius w/ a new set of electrostatic panels (one was weak and had no highs). So far, I'm impressed... very airy and accurate. Of course the wife hasn't seen them yet...:D

System as now: Carver CT-3, Carver TFM-15, Carver SD/A-490T cd player, Rega P1, ADC Sound Shaper SS-412x (for the light show), Martin Logan Aerius, Def tech sub

Bought a very nice 2nd change designer wall-unit from Ligne Roset called Square.
A timeless and beautiful design which has plenty of storageroom for my records and dwarfs my audio equipment on the same time.
But hey, the WAF is enormous :)

seems it wlil be inevitable to get a larger flatscreen telly in the not too distant future though :)
 
I have photos of many of your spaces

I can't help it, I often copy pictures from AK! Then I file them under "Mancaves", or "Turntables", etc.

I made a huge collage using Picasa2. Let's see if I can attach it.....

Yeah, it worked. Don't ask me why I do stuff, I don't know.

Hpm-100's in the living room. I moved them from my tiny bedroom last night. They really open up with so much space. I don't have stands yet but I cut leftover carpet remnant to fit underneath each.

I'm always astounded by the lack of room (wall) treatments in these system pictures. Is that part of the Vintage aesthetic (if my dad/granddad didn't have any, then neither will I), or just WAF at work? But of course all the slick ads in the rags show speakers in rooms with lots of windows and hardwood floors. That doesn't mean they sound good. I know from experience that carefully placed absorbers/diffusers do wonders in an overly bright room. Just wondering, that's all.
