I don't think so. They are good people and always have very reasonable prices on all items. I got the set for $60 not working.

Your system's still just green with AM/FM. Wait till the addition of a good cd player, turntable, or streamer grabs you by the boo-boo.

Wonderful! I don't know vintage equipment very well, but that looks like a TOTL model. Now a matching vintage Pioneer turntable to complete your '70s system. And a little bluetooth receiver to hide behind it, so you can stream from your phone.

Don't get too hooked on flea markets. There will be long periods of drought when you can't find anything good...like years for me.

Wow, what an awesome start... my first audio components also came from a flea market.. many years ago. You need a BIC turntable to pair with that. My own humble opinion of course!

I had a 980. That's a great receiver.

Those speakers really will benefit from a recap. Sounds like you have plenty of tech skills for such a pedestrian job.

Go with some decent Dayton polys, or if your pockets are full, maybe something nicer.

Nice first system for sure! Get your speakers up off the floor and onto some stands that tilt back a few degrees. Pulling them out a little from the wall will help also. Had that exact system a while back.
