Pioneer PL-516 won't spin

I found a Pioneer PL-516 at a garage sale yesterday, but it doesn't spin when I bring the arm to the record.

Is it possible to put a belt on these TTs? I notice that they sell belts for PL-516.

Is the 516 belt drive? I know that the 518 is DD, fully auto, and that the 512 is belt drive fully manual. I was guessin' that the 516 might be DD, semiauto, no?

The 516 is a belt drive TT.

Yeah, I put a cheap belt from another player on to test it out, and it worked for a few seconds. I think the belt wasn't snug enough and fell off. So I'll wait for the new belt to come in.
