PL-516 cleaning

I bought a lovely Pioneer PL-516, but the tonearm assembly is corroded. Any suggestions as to how to clean it? Much appreciated

I own three PL-518's and one had same situation as yours. I used 0000 steel wool and some Dunlap guitar polish or any plastic polish. Came out nice. I used extremely light pressure. But be sure to test an out of sight spot first.
