Pioneer PL-518 DUST COVER?

[Spellbinder]

My PL-518 arrived today and I knew ahead of time the dustcover would be in bad shape. I'd really like to find a clean replacement. Any recommendations on where I might locate a Pioneer PL-518 dust cover.

There's a guy on the auction site who sells reproductions. Never seen one in the flesh but they look quite good in pictures.

Here's a website that sells acrylic replacement dust covers.(sales@turntabledepot.com). They have covers for the pl-560 and others.

Yep, found it on ePay. $89 plus $28.75 shipping ($117.75 total). Pricey, but I really need one. May have to bite the bullet and just pull the trigger.

These guys indicate they can get it (PXA-324 Dust cover for PL-518)

I have my doubts but might be worth a try. No affiliation btw.

I bought one from that seller (turntabledepot) for my PL-518. The new dustcover is absolutely stunning! Made a great difference in the look of my 518...

Just pulled the trigger. Looking forward to seeing it on an otherwise very nice PL-518.

Thanks for the input, all! :thmbsp:
