Pioneer pl 560

i have a pioneer pl 560 that works fine except for the fact that the pitch doesn't light up or work. How hard is it to fix ?

Are you sure it doesn't work? The Pl-560 can work with the pitch locked at the correct speed or with variable pitch. When the speed is locked the light for the meter is out. To change to variable pitch, either pull the pitch knob up or press it so that it pops up. (I can't remember which.) Note the position of the switch in the attached photo. After you've done that, you should be able to play with the pitch and the light should come on.
