hope you make out, its a nice receiver. No quirks or strangeness with that one, it operates and sounds exactly as you would expect in a good quality rx. got mine in a thrift for 24 canadian and had to deoxit the controls just the once, and then clean and detail (alot of that to do). Doesnt seem 45 us is all that out of shape to me so long as its all in good shape and ready to roll. Of course, adding the shipping on top of that, I dont know...it would almost start nudging towards a deal breaker. Theres the potential to do as well or better in a thrift (prolly better). Of course, that depends on area, havent seen a good rx in a thrift here (4 to choose from ), for 6 months. Other thing is, if theres no thrift near you...then the deal youre swinging is prolly the best that could be done or so. Certainly in line with epray money by the time you get done with shipping. Sorry to ramble, but these are all real considerations and certainly any one part of this will affect what constitutes a good deal

Shipping will cost as much as the unit; plus you have the risk of shipping damage. Move on. If you already have a Concept 6.5, what do you need a dinky Pioneer for. You have the fever and it is catching. Throw some cold water on yourself and take a deep breath. :D There will be bigger and better stuff for you to spend your funds on. Shoot for an SX 1050 or 1250; or a Concept 16.5.

I just picked one up today at the VCR museum. $4.00. I cleaned it up, it sounds pretty nice. I just couldn't stop myself
