We'll be glad to have you there! Once I have a better consensus of which weekend in March works best for everyone, I will nail down the exact date. As to location, it is about 99% that it will be held at the Kelso First Presbyterian Church. The address is 215 Academy St., but we use the meeting hall and parking lot in the rear of the building, off Church Street.
Stay posted for updates.

I assume you are talking about Audio homebrew here. :drunk:

I think the DQ-20's and the Fulton J's would be interesting to hear, maybe one of your famous mystery speakers...

Damn, I would like to hear the Frazier 15's in that hall. I can just barely fit both of them in my little Toyota pickup, but it's too severe a load for the drive to Chehalis.

I can probably help you take the fraziers down there depending on the weekend and if it's raining.

...or snowing (remembers last year's March gathering)

:thmbsp: THAT would be excellent! :thmbsp:

I have casters installed on them which should help alot with moving them into/out of the hall.

I'd like to hear some Fraziers!:music:

Oh yeah. :music: If we get them setup right, I think it will be hard to NOT hear some Fraziers inside (and outside) that hall.:banana:

Picture me there.

I can bring a couple large Carver mono amps to audition if people want.

How does it work exactly? Auditions, guest speaker maybe, dancing girls, open bar.....Just kidding
Im not name dropping or anything but since Ive got these amps Ive talked to Bob Carver several times and found him to be very personable and unable to pass up a conversation on audio.
He's always very interesting.
I could stick my neck out and ask him to show.
He does stuff like that. Really a nice guy.

Probably need some lead time though.

If you've had personal correspondance with Bob Carver name drop all you want. I'd love to meet the man. If you know Arnie Nudell invite him too.

Bob Carver is certainly invited if he wants to come!:yes:

The gathering has been kind of an annual (for the last two years) get together for the PNW AKers and others who are into music and the gear we use to enjoy it. It is both a show and shine and swap meet, you don't have to bring stuff to sell, you can just bring some gear that you want to let everyone else audition.
Once I have a concrete date set, I will either update this thread, or start a new one with a link in my sig with all of the details. Probablys shortly after Christmas.

I'll be there again if at all possible. Really great of you to put it on again this year, Tarior. :thmbsp:

AK meet

I can't commit as yet, too far off, but I really was disappointed that I missed last year.
I will try.

How does it work exactly?

Well I schlepped my gear from the car, found a table and extension cord and very helpful AK'ers to set up/show off. Lotsa cool people and dozens of tables of goodies to oogle; earlier I guess there was a talk but the chairs were getting folded up when I got there. :para:

To offset hysterical cacaphonious SPL wars, a moving troupe converged singly in turn upon the presenters' tables... tarior deserves great credit for smoothly running and organizing my first exposure to AK members IRL.

I will try, however if I have a concert...the live music always comes first. Trying to line up the concerts for the first half of the year soon.

I'm getting the hall reserved in the next few days. So please, let me know of weekends in March that won't work for you, and I will do my best to get a date that works for the largest # of people.
