Polk SDA 1 - Upgrade over RTA 12C?

I have a line on a pair of Polk SDA 1's for $300. I read some threads here and it seems like hit or miss. I think the price is right. I already have RTA -12C, which I love.

Any opinions are appreciated.

Pass. That model has the side by side tweeters. One is the dimensional (SDA) tweeter, which imparts a phasey effect.

Polk did away with the SDA tweeter in the later models and went with a progressive point source for the models with more than one tweeter.
