Shame the console is so hideous and if one is into SS that Fisher Statesman Receiver (Chassis 31-R) might make for an okay console pull.

I thought about it, I like Fisher, but I really don't have the room for a console, and I don't much care for consoles in general or that particular furniture style. Still, I'm somewhat surprised it hasn't been claimed yet, even if only to save the guts and scrap the cabinet.

SS unit, anything with tubes would have disappeared immediately, and the fiercely ugly cabinet does not help.

I'd go for it, I like solid state Fisher, and that Dual 1009 is nice. I just don't want to deal with moving and discarding the cabinet,
