Post a picture of your turntable

Beautiful turntables . I get lost here when I see dates back to 2002 with the turntable pics. I cannot figure out how to post a pic either. Coarse I am on my I phone. That may be why. I wanted to post in the picture thread. Anyhow guess it will take me awhile to figure all this out. I really enjoy this site though . I had no idea so many people enjoyed the vintage gear as I do. Glad your here

The "infamous" Blue Pioneer looks fantastic! Where did you find it? I would love to get one!

I got it for cheap about 10 years ago. It looked terrible with the fake veneer all dried up and peeling so I stripped off the crud and painted it as you see it. "Infamous" because that is how one of the members of this forum tagged it when I first posted pics of it some years ago. That's REGA blue, btw.

The 1249, oth, is freshly refurbished and in like new condition, except it has the wood base from an early 1219 instead of the plastic thing it came with.

You did a great job:thmbsp::thmbsp:

My brand new UTurn Orbit. First turntable ever (not counting my parent's console that I used as a kid lol), and so far I love it! Was very nervous with that first needle drop of how it might sound, but to be honest I was blown away -- Dire Straits sounded awesome!

Thanks. I built the plinth and tonearm mounting plate out of solid oak. I might post the construction process in case someone else wants to build something similar..

I have to admit, the way cool neon lights in the new turntables almost make me want one :) love that neon green!

I'm pretty sure that's just Jose creatively lighting a nice piece of green vinyl on his TT. It's a great shot for sure! I took a similar pic a while back on my VPI which I can assure you has no neon lights ;)

As long as we're on the subject :)

The Turntable is a Stock Marantz TT-15S1.

I designed the dustcover, and submitted it to JMK Displays out of New York. They manufactured and delivered it in about 2.5 weeks. It is 1/4'' thick acrylic. It looks gorgeous. It was about $180 shipped give or take, I can not remember.

The lighting, is adjustable colored LEDs from IKEA called the Dioder. While on, I can't notice any interference from it. It has 7 select-able colors or you can set it to cycle which is fun.

What do you think?
