Nice! My GF is considering getting one of these for a while now. I also have a Micro Seiki, a Tannoy badge TM44DD, with a Shure V15 IV cart. Apologies if you've already answered this, but what cart are you using on these TTs and how do you like them?

The Clearaudio has an Artist V2 MM Cart about $600. I also upgraded to the Satisfy Tone Arm, which is a different design for the stock arm. This combo really sounds great to me. That being said who knows how good my 60 year old ears are working.

My Micro Seiki DD40 had the MA 505 arm and a Grace F9L Cart. I sold this table a few years back, I know I should have never let it go. It was a great combo and I enjoyed it for 30 years, along with Magnepan speakers and my G.A.S. amp and preamp. I bought this set up when I was 23 years old. I thank John Garland of Garland Audio in San Jose for helping put together a killer system in 1978. John took my budget as a challenge to help me build the best system possible. I was a small customer but he made me feel like I was the most important system he had ever put together. John has passed away put he will never be forgotten. Man did I have a killer system for a kid, and I have been lucky enough to enjoy great music for my entire adult life.

John Garland was a true gentleman.

Whenever I found myself in his neighborhood, I always tried to stop in and see what new equipment he had in stock.

I'll definitely raise my glass and offer a toast in his memory.

My first "real" turntable Garrard gt-35ap. Was using a Crosley for a month prior and then learned my lesson. Has a Pickering xv-15 Cart and a d400 stylus.

That is one of the nicest turn tables that I have seen from Eastern Europe ever!!!!

Here's my main play as of now…Kenwood KD-3070 (1978?) that I got for free last year and decided to mod for 78s (may have used a mod from somewhere here on the forum!) I have an Empire 2000e/iii with clear generic stylus (bleh!) and a Stanton 400v.3 that is shown here with the 3 mil stylus for shellac. I've actually been enjoying the Stanton (with LP stylus at about 3 grams) more than the Empire lately. I will be adding a DL-110 soon, I miss mine.

This is a slightly blurry phone pic but I will take better pics of all the TTs around the house soon!

Hey everyone!

I just got my new GrooveTracer Delrin Platter for my Rega Planar 2.
Also has a tangospinner kit, a ruby bearing, and a new Rega 24v motor.
Got a new dustcover for it as well, stock arm, and an Ortofon 2M Blue cart.
Found some Rotel record brush/anti static arm cleaner for cheap too.

I really really like it.

Here is my baby:

Technics SL-D2 with a Technics EPS-270 SD stylus.

I bought it myself in 1981.

Recently, I've even made some new hinges, because the old ones are broken.
You can see some pictures below of the hinges.

I put my Rega P5 on a Rega wall mount then I bolted it up to my rack. This way I`m not tied down to a permanent spot like it would be if wall mounted.
Ceramic floor tiles on cement so there`s no foot fall problems.
