Now we move on to the Fairchild F-27 Friendship. This aircraft was built in 1959 and is a licenced version of the Fokker F-27. The F-27 was moderately popular but had a spotty safety record with at least 33 of the 206 built involved in fatal accidents. However it seems like most of these were due to human error and not really an issue with the aircraft itself.

The Fulton Chain of Lakes from the trail to Bald Mt in the Adirondacks. Named after Robert Fulton, inventor of the steamboat, who once proposed an Adirondack canal system linking the lakes.
