punctured foam on woofer

Any tips on how to fix a 1.5 to 2 mm hole in the foam surrounds on an 8 inch woofer of an infinity RS 4001 ?

What can I cover it with ? what kind of glue to use ?

Better to just re-surround the woofer. Adding glue (weight) to one side of the surround is just asking for problems.

That is such a small hole that if the surround is otherwise sound, I would put a dab of Aleene's tacky glue on it. No need to cover it, the glue will fill a tiny space like that hole. If you need to refoam, that is the glue to use on the surrounds too.

+1 on the Aleen's.

Just make sure you get the glue into the hole, then spread it out on the backside. That will hold it in like a plug.

Have the surrounds ever been replaced? It's a pretty simple job on those since they're on the front of the cone. Check this thread: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?p=4074670

I'm almost honored, coming from a member with your post count. I just think it's easier to refoam than fart with it.
