Quad ESL 63s in NYC/Brooklyn?

Hey Folks,

Does anyone in NYC or Brooklyn have a pair of the Quad ESL 63s? I'd really like to hear a pair.

Is there really no one in the entire city who owns a pair of these? I would go to a dealer, but I don't think there are any more that carry Quads.

Yeah, I know of some dealers in NJ. It's just tough to get to some of the places without a car.

I tried going to Stereo Exchange in NYC, being they state they are a Quad dealer. But I called ahead and they said that it's a brand they don't carry on the floor. So I'm back to square one. Either I just take a chance and buy a pair, or just try to forget about them and move on.

It's not that they're hard to come by if I was ready to purchase a set. I would just want to listen to a pair first.
