How about this one I heard at work: "He's busier than a 3-legged raccoon in a henhouse."
 
How about "Fire in the Paint Locker" ! when something bad is about to happen, or something small and bad is about to get MUCH worse.
 
When I was growing up my Dad used to say "Your eyes bigger than your stomach?" when I couldn't eat all my food. He also used to say "There's more than one way to skin a cat."
Here's one I use, "Is the Pope Jewish?"

My kin folks use to say "you betta eat all of your food." I think I may have used the "skin a cat" phrase just the other week with my girlfirend. She was giving me a hard time.

I met a very successful business executive who told me " The customer is not always right, but the customer is always the customer." I took that to heart, and it has helped me a great deal.

I know I am gonna' get whipped with a wet noodle for resurrecting an oldie here, but on having a converse with someone the other day I mentioned an idiom I heard as a kid.

Well, there's a few word play games on this forum & it is good for the soul I must say. Hope to see a few more on here! :D
