The schematic calls it 2SK30(D), but I'm just guessing that the original poster was talking about Q17 or Q18. Those are the only two FETs I can see in the schematic .

Thank you for all your help, I found a reputable seller on ebay selling 2SK30As, hopefully this fixes the buzzing and allows me to recap the player. On a side note, this thing is giving me such problems that I actually was working on it in one of my dreams last night.

Me, neither. I know it's a vexing problem when I have to pull out one of my printed semiconductor reference guides from the 1970's because there's nothing on the 'net.
