I think they need to be on the ground to get the bass to be at it's best, they seem to be lacking in bass on certain songs, but not on others. They really hit you with sound, super powerful and detailed. Still experimenting, I would like to recap them before pushing them too hard, I would hate to hurt any of the drivers since they are probably hard to find.
That's crazy! You would rock the whole campus with these.

The big heavy one says Frazier right on it. Are you guys saying they sourced that from someone else?
You can draw out the schematic yourself. There is kind of a standard way to arrange them on paper, if you need a link I can post one. This thing is simple enough that it should be doable.

The big woofer has 321 stamped on it, I thought it could have been a manuf EIA code but 321 is Triplett. They make meters but not speaker drivers. So that's out. There's another number there in the top line but it's more than 3 digits and starts with F, so probably a Frazier part number or something else, not a manuf code.
I'm going to guess the two woofers, being different, are crossed over at different points, so the big one is working a bit deeper than the other one. This is sometimes done on speakers with more than one woofer. A schematic would make it more clear.

looks like a definite EV, and the square magnet one is a CTS
Frazier usually did things pretty uncomplicated, I only see two sets of caps, two regular looking coils, and two long tube like coils. I am including the spec sheet that says where they are crossed at, 400 and 4000.
It looks like two 10 uf caps in series, end to end, not sure what that does, or what it goes to, but it must be the mids.
The other caps are four 12uf caps in paralell, so I would think that would go to the woofer, 48uf total.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking.
EV doesn't seem to have an EIA code. Of course not everyone did, I just never tried to look them up before. I don't know EV drivers very well but I've certainly seen plenty of square magnet CTS's and I would agree on that one for sure.
Compare this photo to yours. Looks like a match. Three holes in the magnet, hole between the wire lugs, same casting in the frame.

Because these are late in production units they might have different woofers compared to the earlier serial numbered ones, there just isn't much on the web about them though. I also posted in the FUG section on facebook hoping the Frazier experts would chime in and help, not much action there though.
Now that's what I'd call a score and a half:thmbsp: Bluebook says they were produced from 72-82 and retailed for $3,800 a pair! Congrats to you on landing a once in a lifetime score that most of us here on ak including myself can only dream about.
I don't know about having dreams about these, maybe nighmares trying to move them.
They might be one of the last pair made of this model.
EV was 649 in 1961. Those usually didn't change, though changes in ownership might have had an impact.
