Hey, UH, how have you been? I just now saw your post. Will those T-200's give Machs a run for their money? How do you like YOUR MC-1000's? What kind of music do you like on them?Where to start...
STA-120B - One of my all time favorites
T-200 Speakers - Ditto

Just upgrade that modem to 9600 baud and start downloading! Oh, don't forget a CD burner!---snip---
And a fully expanded TRS-80 Model I computer, expansion bay, 5" floppy drive, 300 baud modem, and all 48K of memory too!
I Wonder what it would take to get it to run iTunes?

I think a side-by-side comparison of the T-200s with Mach 1s would be interesting. I like the T-200s better in the typical living room or man cave size room that I use them in. If my listening room was bigger my preference might change. I have always thought that the T-200s were one of if not the best sounding speakers that RS made, at least for my taste. I listen to a wide variety of music with a preference for classic rock and jazz.Hey, UH, how have you been? I just now saw your post. Will those T-200's give Machs a run for their money? I use the MC-1000s as utility speakers on my work bench system and in my garage, hanging from the ceiling. Considering their catalog selling price of about $100 for the pair, they were pretty darn good. It was a bonus to get real wood veneer cabinets in that price range. Overall they were a very good value in their price range.
That's exactly what I did back then.Ah, the good old days:
