Hello all, I was hoping someone could give a little advise to my situation.
I picked up a Realistic STA 820 on the cheap, and it has an issue with the balance. Now, I've had similar balance issues before but only with headphones.
The left channel is out, and the right works.
However, when I pan the balance switch fro right to left, the sound gets louder and more bassy(?) only in the right channel.
That is to say, turning the balance switch from right to left only changes the volume and tone of the right channel.
I have had this issue with headphones that have gotten yanked out (by my clumsy dog) and it seemed that the bent post wasn't connecting both channels anymore. So they just went in the bin.
What am I looking at concerning the "bent post syndrome" that's happening in my receiver?
Any help, as always, would be greatly appreciated and rewarded with good karma on ya.
