realistic t-200 speakers.

Can anyone help me find a set, ive had a hard time with it. they are a twin 10'' 3-way and were only made for a few years. they can be found under realistic or optimus t-200.

First things first, Welcome to AK cain!

There is quite a bit of information on the T-200s here on AK. Use the (Google) search function above to find it. I bought a pair shortly after they were introduced and really like them. I did replace the foam surrounds and rebuilt the crossovers a year or so ago so they sound like new again. They are easy to work on. I think they are one of, if not the best sounding speakers that Radio Shack made.

As to where you can find a pair, I don't see them often so you have to keep your eye on Ebay, Craigslist as well as audio related sites.

thanks for the welcome,i am a big fan of most of the speakers radio shack had in that time span. i recently ran across a mint set of mach ones (the first version) for 80 bucks. i got them off an old lady. i didnt know much about the or what they were worth so i googled it. as i was reading i learned about the t-200 speakers. i read that they may even be better then the machs.

The T-200s were TOTL and an entirely different speaker than the Mach one, different ideas, so one might not be better than the other, just different. Still very nice speakers.
