They are not that rare they are just expensive. The REL Precident is rare.

Now, that's a REAL Marantz, not some Japanese version. It's worth every cent. The Buyer will own one of the most legendary pieces of audio gear of all time.

The very top end of the Vintage market has been setting records almost monthly.
It's hard to say what anything will bring until it hits ebay.

It seems to me that $2500-$3000 for a recently serviced well represented piece is about right.

Wow that Precedent is awesome. I would really love to hear some of the early marantz gear. I've heard so much praise about it, but have never owned any because of cost.
