I went back by my local record store after work today and bought the 2LP reissue of Happy Days by The Catherine Wheel. So much for not spending all of my money before payday at the end of the month.

[Tedrick]

I went to my local store later in the day on Saturday and managed to pick up copies of Grant Green - Slick! Live at Oil Can Harry's and Thelonius Monk - Monk.

I'm not a subscriber these days, but there is probably a thread for buying-by-proxy in subscriber's only section of AK.

If you are just looking for more information on those two, I can't help, as I saw neither at my local record shop.

Holy crap my subscription is still working as well... I will take a gander. thanks sa

I was in line at 7am for a 11am open here, was 5th in line. Lots of good conversations with the usual suspects at the head of the line, polite crowd in the store, the usual RSD morning here.

Big Audio Dynamite II - On the Road '92 12" EP
The Durutti Column - Another Setting 2LP (bonus live LP on clear)
The Sundays - Reading, Writing & Arithmetic LP
The Swans - Die Tür ist Zu 2LP (3 sides)
Belly - Feel 10" EP (blue with white splatter)
Sufjan Stevens - "Mystery of Love" 10" single (clear)
The National - Boxer Live in Brussels LP (clear)
Merxbow/Pandi/Gustafsson/Moore - Cuts Up Cuts Out LP
Brian Eno with Kevin Shields - "The Weight of History" 12" single
How’s the Brian Eno?
5 new releases and 4 reissues, not a bad ratio.

[SA-708]

How’s the Brian Eno?

I haven't had time to spin that one yet. It has been a busy week.

One of the tracks is available for free on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/adultswimsingles/brian-eno-with-kevin-shields

[Designdweeb]

Thanks! I'm listening to it now...
