Rega Carbon?

The Rega Carbon phono cartridge bears a striking resemblance to the AT-3600 and CN5625AL Audio Technica...what's the story?

Looks pretty much identical to AT91, which also has a carbon cantilever these days. A great value at 20€ a pop. It seems the generator is not identical though, 2.5mV output for the Rega Carbon as opposed to 3.6mV of the stock AT91, that or I suppose the Rega stylus could have a smaller magnet to reduce moving mass. Would be interesting to see inductance figures for the bodies. If the Rega Carbon improves on the AT91 on any way, it would still be a good value at 49€ imo.

I've owned one for a year in my RP-1, was hesitant in taking it at first (wanted my ELAC STS-343 installed), but
I must say it is a fine tracking and sounding cartridge...I have wondered if there is a direct elliptical stylus for it...???
