Rega fono mark i or ii

Anyone know the differences between the rega fono mark 1 and mark 2 ? I am considering both used as a my first phono stage.

They're functionally the same, although the current model's specs indicate a little less gain than the original Fono. That probably makes the new one a little better match for the high output of Rega's own cartridges. The cosmetics were updated to match their other components.
