Damn....Now I gotta find a cassette to CD converter.

I saw one brand new at Wal Mart a week ago!

If you have the equipment to play them and the space to store them I dont see anything wrong with buying them.

While I'm not a big consumer of classical music, Our local goodwills etc sell classical tapes for the next to nothing and many times they are big sets that looked like they never came out of the case...
Same seems to go for Jazz.

Ummm saying that cassette tapes are as durable as CD is pretty delusional. Sure one can find cassettes that still work and sound fine but saying that they wear as well? Not on your best fantasy.
