HI, Can anyone recommend a repair service near Framingham, Massachusetts. The right channel has very little sound on my Pioneer SX-950.
Thanks in advance.

If we presume that the switches and controls have already been cleaned an exercised, does the problem exhibit itself with all sources, any speakers, headphones?

Could be just a dirty switch. With the power off, exercise the Tape monitor 1 switch at least 50 times. All signals go through it, that's how it "overrides" everything else. Then power it on and at lower volume see if it made any difference by more exercising. Then if no change try the speaker switch at low volume several times to see if anything changes. Switch contacts get tarnished over time, especially ones that don't get used enough to scrape themselves clean with use.

If you're still looking contact Victor - he has a shop at "Music Go-Round" located on Route 9 eastbound, just past Rt-27 in Natick.
