Replacement rubber bumpers on TT dust covers.

My Technics SL-1600 cover front corner bumps are all but gone. Anyone come up with a suitable replacement?

Those little stick-on things for cabinet doors work fine.

Use those adhesive backed foam sheets you get at craft stores, I cut a little L shaped piece to the correct size and stick that on the corners

Why not put the bumpers on the turntable base instead of the lid?

All good intended advice above, but I think the OP is looking for those tiny round black ( or white) bumpers that came stock on the corners of many stock TT dust covers. The ones I've seen in stores or on Amazon are too big or too thick. Amazon's smallest are 6mm or 1/4" but the needed size is usually about 4mm or 3/16".
I've seen some thin rubber ones that would work if you had some sort of circular die to cut small ones out of them. An empty .22 caliber rifle cartridge case or better yet a .17 HMR rife case might make a decent die to cut out a limited quantity with. Or, make a die from a small metal tube from the hobby store. At one time I had the top section of an old Parker all metal ink pen that I die cut some bumpers with.

Set em and forget em. Let the next guy in 10 years worry about the residue which should come off easily with any number of chemicals.

The bumps on the Technics cover are small to begin with. But without them the lid closes with a thunk or possible crack if not careful. Also wears out the paint on the corners.
