Replacing pioneer woofers

Need to replace woofers in pioneer cs-88a speakers which are 80w. I found some 120w from a dif pioneer model.will they work or do i have to rework crossovers?

It involves more than just wattage. There's the efficiency of the speaker as well as its effective frequency range. The crossover would be built around that speaker to roll off to the mid at the most effective point. It may sound OK. You may want to compare the specs of the two speakers if you can find them.
