That seems to be the rumors going around in the sewing circles, either Subscribe or Tough Schiitt. So I guess just be honest with everyone if that's the case or put those rumors to rest once and for all.

FWIW, I noticed something very unusual for the nearly 8 yrs. that I`ve been a member.
I come into A/K every morning always checking new posts only and working my through all recent posts to see if I can provide any assistance, or possibly a constructive comment to any new post`s subjects that interest me.
Since joining from that time there has never been less than 17 pages of new posts indicated every single morning, with often 18 !
Yesterday afternoon for the first time in all those nearly 8 yrs. on A/K, the new post`s page count was 11 !
EDIT: Though it just occurred to me that it might be indicated low because of me recently selectively marking uninterested subjects as read, so that may explain the low page count of new posts, so never mind !

It's not being ignored; there are multiple AK-related sites undergoing constant server attacks and setbacks, draining resources and availability. All registered members, subscribers or not, are highly valued and many are often long time close friends. Please hang in there while we continue to work through these.

I've been telling members that I believed that was the case, but I think some just wanted to hear it from the powers that be.

AudioKarma has become almost unreadable at times with ads popping up over the content.

Wrong. I’m a subscriber and ads have been a mess for the last week.
If you have a smart phone on hand, have you tried that? I only have an android phone using DDG for about everything & all my problems have been absent the last few days. Still can't get anywhere with Brave browser though, but as long as one or the other works, I'm happy.
You, being a staffer & moderator, ought not have any problems at all. Something very odd there, hope it shakes out right quick!
Galaxy S21 phone, Android 13, Chrome. Overwhelming number of ads and pop-ups, including a full page ad that pops up when clicking on a post. And when composing a reply.
No problems with W10 PC and Chrome, running UBlock. Other than frequent failure to load threads that I click on. This happens on phone as well.

Another member did a test yesterday, he did not want to add yet another thing to his computer just to use AK.seeing that this site is the only one he has any problem with. He has been slammed with the ads too, he was going to tap out and take a break from AK, but decided to become a Subscriber just to see what happens. He said all issues with the ads are gone and was glad to see he did not have to make any changes to his computer with adding different Ad-Blockers and all of that.
I have to chime in and say that with Chrome on my iPad the site has become unbearable. I get ads popping in and out at both the top and the bottom of my screen.

you mean pages not loading after numerous refresh. or oranges bars running and nothing happening.
or posting pics and a message that says your message is too long try shortening. as opposed to the usual "pic is too large"
we're all seeing issues of some kind.
i'm trying my own work arounds, and trying not to leave it all too the admins who have to deal with a few thousand machine variances
i'm trying and others should also.
i have to deal with 1 machine
except for some orange bars slowing things down drastically i have few issues atm.
i have gotten rid of ads. i have gotten rid of large empty boxes.
some of the onus lies on the user.

You were aware that Chrome browser is a inhouse development/creation of the ultra filthy rich advertisement/tracking driven mogul company called Google !!!
Surprise, surprise, surprise !
In case these posts haven't been read, the free uBlock lite app is worth installing. No more issues here.
