Restoring uncle's Sansui 9090DB

Good job on the rebuild! My attempt on one of these ended up in a working unit.... for a week. Then the power supply and amplifier nuked. o_O Considering how bad the amp board is a new one is needed to attempt a rebuild. Anyone have a PCB file for those revosed amp boards I see for sale?

Hello,

Are you still able to help and show the exact placement of the wafers on the Dolby switch? I have a huge problem before mounting it. My receiver is a Sansui 9090DB in the 230V version (Europe) Take a look at the pictures - it is in the "Dolby FM" position.
I will be grateful for every answer.
Regards
David

Left to right = Front to rear in the "off" position.

Thank You Skywatcher,

Now i know - Its correct, but on your picture you have position on "REC-1"

All the best!
You could be right. I could have sworn I took it apart in the off. But no matter, orientation with the flats of the shaft both front and rear of the wafer contacts matches. Glad it confirmed your suspicions.
