Rewiring a PL-530 Tonearm

My 32 AWG silver wire just came in last week. Once I get back to it, I'll let you know what I come across. I imagine it's simply desoldering the leads from the collar contacts on the tonearm, removing the ground sleeve inside the the pivot shaft and pulling the old wires out and then run the new wires through. I'll have to follow up once I finish.

I'm currently looking to rewire my PL-550, what you need is something along these lines: (no affiliation)

The first one is probably better overall in terms of ease to install (it's sleeved) and it is pre-twisted/shielded; however, it is double the price and it is only for one foot (not much room for error or doing future arms)
The second one linked is more affordable and comes with leads for redoing a headshell if you were so inclined, and it is 5m of wire so you could do multiple tonearms. It is not sleeved/shielded/twisted.
I'm still sitting on the fence for my rewire but will probably opt for the first. Also with these PL-5XY models there are also two additional ground wires that connect at two points within the tonearm assy so you will need to think about that as well. I know ebay had some kits with additional black wire for grounding tonearms, but they were more expensive ($25+). Would it be unfavourable to use lower quality wiring for the ground?
Does anyone have any pictures of where the ground wires connect? I was waiting to finish my reveneer before tackling the tonearm but kind of getting impatient.
