Thanks! Is that cart any good? I know 'good' is relative, but worth using in light of the many that are out there now that are affordable? I was wanting to do some A - B comparisons with my Shure M97xE - and was going to take the OEM cart off, but thought Id ask you smart fellas first.

When I got my PL-530 it came with that cart and stylus.. the needle was toast so I replaced it with a newer model. it was ok.. it didn't wow me at all. most carts and needles that are OEM, are pretty low quality. usually very entry level conical shaped diamond.
If you replace the stylus, move up to an elliptical one.. or the AT 440MLa, micro line.
I replaced my cartridge with a sweet sounding AT440MLa that I am using still after a year of use. I can't imagine another cartridge sounding better at this price point.
