A relatively modern example:

Uranus Fudge Factory on I-44 near Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

It's got a little bit of everything: Vintage cars, a bus, and a firetruck, dinosaurs, a rocket, tatoo parlor, shooting range, and a candy store.

There's been an attraction on this site since the late 70's. First it was bars and "gentlemen's clubs". This is the family friendly version.

I've hesitated to post this as tasteless, if not outrageous, but it was real, and ultimately a massive embarassment, which is why I posted no pic.
Fwiw, we'd do Sunday dinner @ the Nohlgren's buffet as an occasional family treat, I don't recall ever seeing the original frontage, we didn't go there then.

The Niagara Cafe in Gundagai, New South Wales Australia. Started modestly but did well being in Gundagai, 1/2 way between Melbourne & Sydney. One or two Prime Ministers have had the owner open it up after hours for a late night feed.
