I got one for xmas one year when I was about 14 years old. At that age I decided that is was doing more harm than good so I used it only a couple of times. Battery power does not hack it when rotating a LP with brushes on both sides.

This is a plug in unit. Not battery powered.

I just can't believe that anyone would use a sink sprayer on their records. I about poop myself when I get a drop of cleaning fluid on the label. Holy crap! Check my second post for reference.

I've washed my albums in the sink for over 20 years. NEVER damaging a single lable on one. If you don't spray the lable, you won't get it wet. I just let the water run out of the faucet onto the album... take an old velour record brush, and scrub. Shake off the excess water and let dry. Some times I will use a blow dryer on the cool setting to blow the water off.

I had an album the other night that no matter how many times I used fluid and a brush on it, it was unlistenable. Took it in to the kitchen and washed it off... dead quiet.. amazing how well it works.
